Questions & answers

Clear answers before you start.

Understand the scope, your team’s role and how a conversation with Lianta turns into practical project work.

Owners

Do I need a complete specification to start?

No. Start with the space, what you want it to do and your intended opening date. Lianta helps turn that starting point into a brief, identifies missing information and prepares the next questions for the right specialists.

Does Lianta replace a main contractor and a procurement specialist?

Lianta brings planning, tendering, procurement and day-to-day coordination into one AI-led service. Start with a space and a brief, and coordinate your chosen designers, trades, suppliers and installers. Or bring an existing main contractor and connect that team with the purchasing and work still to be organised. Your appointed companies build, install and carry out specialist reviews; you approve key commitments.

Do we have to use a dashboard?

No. Speak or type to Lianta to ask for an update, a comparison or a document. Your coordinator brings you the answer and the decisions that need your attention. Project information can be organised visually too, without making another dashboard your daily job.

How much does the service cost?

The owner, operator or main contractor commissioning Lianta pays for the agreed project-coordination scope. Invited contractors and suppliers receive basic AI support free of charge for that project. We discuss the scope and fee before you commit.

Can Lianta help us find newer equipment or materials?

Yes. The sourcing process can look beyond your usual local suppliers for suitable options. Compare performance, compatibility, complete installed cost, lead time and local support, rather than choosing on novelty or the purchase price alone.

What kinds of work does Lianta cover?

Building alterations, partitions, doors, finishes and specialist building services, through to coordinated installation and handover for hotels, restaurants, shops and warehouses. Tell us your trades, region and the work you want to take on.

Do we still control our quotes and commitments?

Yes. Your team sets prices, resource availability, scope and commercial terms. Lianta prepares the working information and highlights unanswered questions; your authorised people decide what to offer and accept.

What if the site is not ready?

Lianta makes the missing requirement visible and brings it to the responsible company. Your team can agree a revised sequence or date with the client and other specialists, keeping additional cost and programme effects in the record.

Can we use it on a project we already have?

Yes. Bring your existing client, project and team. You can start with a current coordination problem or a work package; you do not have to wait for a new enquiry through Lianta.

Can Lianta help with the paperwork needed for payment?

Your AI team gathers progress records, variation details and the supporting documents required by your contract. It helps track missing information and submission dates so your team can review the application or invoice before it is issued.

Can a main contractor use Lianta for its own projects?

Yes. Bring your client and delivery team, and commission Lianta for an agreed paid coordination scope. Invited contractors and suppliers receive basic AI support free for that project.

Suppliers

What can we supply through Lianta?

Building materials, equipment and furniture for hotels, restaurants, shops and warehouses. Tell us your product categories, delivery area and whether you also install. You can discuss suitable new enquiries or bring an existing customer project.

Can we propose an alternative product?

Yes. Include its specification, supporting information, price and lead time. Lianta makes the differences clear for the client and relevant specialist to review. Your team approves the offer it shares; the appointed people decide whether to accept the alternative.

What happens if the site is not ready?

The outstanding access, unloading, storage or installation requirement is raised with the responsible team. Lianta prepares the options and records the agreed change. Your team stays involved in decisions affecting dates, additional costs and commitments.

Can we quote Ex Works?

Yes, where EXW suits the order. Under EXW Incoterms® 2020, the seller makes the goods available at the named place; the buyer arranges loading, transport and any export or import clearance. FCA may suit cross-border orders better: the seller handles export clearance and, at the seller’s premises, loading. Lianta helps compare the supply price with separately priced logistics and installation.

Is a request for quotation an order?

No. It asks your team to propose products, price, lead time and terms. You approve your offer before sharing it. The customer reviews the options, and the relevant parties agree the order and responsibilities separately.

Designers

How does Lianta work with our existing appointment?

Bring the client, consultants and delivery partners already involved. Your practice keeps its agreed design role. Lianta helps organise information, prepare documents and follow up on decisions around that work; your people retain their professional responsibilities.

Who approves a substitution or design change?

The people appointed to make the relevant design, technical and commercial decisions. Lianta prepares the comparison and connects the outcome to current drawings and schedules. A proposal stays open until the required reviews and approvals are recorded.

What do we need to begin?

Tell us about your practice, where you work and whether you are exploring a partnership or bringing a client project. A short description of the stage and support you need is enough; you do not need a finished specification or a drawing upload.

Who controls which drawings are shared?

Your practice controls the drawings, specifications and decisions it releases. Lianta links questions and changes to the current revision so the appointed companies can work from the relevant information.

Working together

What information do other companies see?

Project participants receive the approved requirements, questions and updates relevant to their role. Internal margins, costing, fees and working discussions stay within the company. Tender offers go to the authorised recipient, not competing bidders.

Can partners use email, phone or WhatsApp?

Yes. Agreed communication channels can be used by participants who do not use an AI workspace. Lianta connects the information and follow-up around the project, rather than requiring everyone to operate another system.

What happens after installation?

You receive a readiness and handover record showing completed checks, missing evidence, responsible companies and due dates. Your appointed specialists review the work and your operator completes the opening checks. After opening, Lianta connects a reported issue to the relevant product, warranty terms and named service contact; the responsible company confirms coverage and the response.

What happens when I send an enquiry?

Your enquiry is sent to the Lianta team so we can review the details and contact you. The form does not start a live AI conversation or create a project account. The interactive project examples use prepared answers and records. They do not connect to your project or record your voice.
